A brilliantly simple idea that will be achievable and (if I'm not wrong) be a wonderful resource for the town.
I'm interested in flushing out a little more detail in the script that you have written. What are the exact images of the old Roxy theatre? What are the exact images of the new Roxy theatre? - describe them to us. Visually there are lots of options here that will keep the audience engaged and interested - well done!
With regards to the interviews I would like to know who the people are that you intend to interview. Think carefully about who the best people are for this... are they an expert? Are they of notable importance to the Roxy? Why do each of them have the right to be put forward as a "figure of authority" to talk on this subject?
Consider some visual effect like time lapse to show the cinema filling up or emptying..Maybe even overlay of setting up and playing out a movie.. Also is there anyone to interview about their experiences prior to the restoration? Before gaining approval to shoot this group must:
- Redraft script including details on visuals.
- Create a list of interview participants explaining who they are and why they are important to include in the film.
- Create storyboards and have them approved
